

Robert Lewis Miller, the son of the late John and Zelma Lee Miller was born April 8, 1937 in Itasca, Texas. He entered rest Sunday, May 9, 2010. Robert grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and attended public school there. He joined the United State States Army at an early age, because his parents had to sign for his enlistment.
He was active in both church and the community. Robert attended Guadalupe Bible College, that helped him in his church ministry at Sanford Chapel United Methodist Church. His community work started as a Public Health worker with the Metropolitan Health District serving high-risk groups.
Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy Williams-Miller and his sister Edith Joy Mickey. He is survived by his daughters Ginger R. Graham and Deborah R. Simms of Columbus S.C., 3 grand children Amber M. Milbrodt, Robert J. Milbrodt and Chole E. Graham, 2 sisters Clarence Conner-Miller and
Dr. Amy A. Perkins and brother William N. Miller. He also has four stepchildren, Greg Williams (Debbie), Phillip Williams, Richard Williams (Laura), and Joanna Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Robert will be remembered as a man of strong religious beliefs and admirable personality.
Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Private entombment will follow at Sunset Mausoleum 5000.
