Robert Montez

Robert was a loving husband and father who enjoyed building car models, gardening and barbequing. Dad was strong determined and fiercely independent man, there was never a job too large or too small that he would not tackle. He was a proud grandfather affectionately called "Papa" who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe Montez. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 41years, Becky Montez; daughters, Gina Montez, and Rose Davila (Cesar); grandchildren, Alexander, Jacob, Roselyn, Julian, and Antonio; sisters, Alice Ames, and Joann Diaz, Lupe Espinoza; brother, Raul Montez (Yolanda) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be missed more than any words could express but will be forever in our hearts until we meet again. Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate Roberts life in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink in his memory would be quite appropriate.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary McCullough.
