Robert "Bob" Joseph Parrotte (CW4, US Army Ret.) passed into eternal rest on Thursday, April 17, 2025. He was born in Binghamton, New York to Richard Joesph Parrotte and Mary Jane (Murphy) Parrotte. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy, and their two sons, Richard (Lt Col, USAF Ret.) and Robert (CW4, US Army Ret.), their wives LaurieLynn and Colette, and his grandchildren: Kelsey, Aaron (WO1, US Army), Jacob, and Matthew. He is also survived by his siblings Patricia Pogosian (Richard), Rita Parrotte, Daniel Parrotte (Barbara), and Maureen Bryniarski (Greg), along with several nephews and nieces.
Bob was especially proud of his 23-year career as a Special Agent in the United States Army Criminal Investigation Division, culminating with his position on the Inspector General team. After retiring from the US Army, he and his wife moved to San Antonio, Texas where he became active with his church and the Knights of Columbus. He was highly respected by everyone he met and well loved by those who knew him well.
