He was born July 12, 1935, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Joe and Mary Ann Planto.
Robert is survived by his son, Philip; daughter, Ibis; grandson, Zachary; sister, Arlette; numerous nieces and nephews.
Sonny was a proud businessman, father, grandfather, and an enthusiastic fisherman.
He was liked and respected by everyone.
We'll miss you Dad.
