Robert Jerome Reed

Robert was born to Robert Roscoe Reed and Beatrice Bertha Schneider on August 17, 1943, in Merrill, Wisconsin. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1960. He never married and had no children.

He is survived by his sister Mary Eileen Rodgers, brother-in-law Samuel Howard Rodgers, and Nephew, Samuel Robert Rodgers, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by Robert Roscoe Reed (father) and Beatrice Bertha Schneider Reed (mother).

Robert worked as a cashier at Central Market for 28 years. He loved working for Central Market and met many friends there. His interests were in elegant jewelry. He was a former Manager for Zales, Gordons, and other companies prior to his work at Central Market. He was also actively involved in Living Way Church.

A viewing of Robert is scheduled for May 13 from 6-8 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas, and the Funeral service will be held on May 14 at 10 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas, and will be officiated by Pastor Fendor. Interment will take place at 12 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas. The family requests that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society for research at the official site cancer.org. The family would also like to thank all the folks that knew Robert, worked with him, and supported him throughout his life.
