

He was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Vincent Adellan and Suzanne Dillon Snell. He graduated from Central Catholic High School, attended New Mexico Military Academy, and graduated from Norwich University.
LTC Snell served his country proudly in the U. S. Army for 26 years, and voluntarily served two tours of duty in Vietnam, as well as assignments in Europe, South Korea, and various locations throughout the United States. During his Military career, he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, Soldier's Medal 2nd Oaf Leaf Cluster Bronze Star Medal with "V" Device, Meritorious Service Medal 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Medal with "V" Device 2-5, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Combat Infantry Badge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Anne Marie Nancy Snell Mead.
He is survived by Christine A. Snell and their children: Michael C. Snell, Matthew H. Snell and wife Staci L., and Scott D. Snell; brothers Arthur L. Snell, and Col. Dillon Snell USA Ret. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Kohle and Duke.
