Spiritual and always humble, he was a devout Catholic and praised the Lord daily with his rosary. He met the love of his life and married in 1960. Bob and Mary Jane had an unbreakable Bond of true love and genuine respect. They treated every outing together as if it was their first date. They traveled extensively, and fell in love with Europe. Bob never forgot his homegrown roots and found joy in representing the seraphic sisters of St Francis nursing home as well as The Hermann Son's Lodge downtown. He volunteered his time to charity and was a member of the knights of Columbus. The art of giving back, made his heart smile. Christmas was his favorite time of year. He reveled in the music the lights the spirit and the joy of family gatherings. A loving husband father and grandfather. A man of integrity and honor, stoic and proud, yet compassionate humble and empathetic. He was highly respected amongst his peers. Bob grabbed the brass Ring of Life and loved every bit of it.
