Robert Castillo Sandoval

He is preceded in death by his wife, Annette Sandoval, and mother, Maria Antonia Campos. He is survived by his father, Robert E. Sandoval; Crystal Khantharoth (Sakhone), Sarah Rangel, Thomas J. Rangel Jr, Robert Sandoval Grandchildren, Giovanni Fernandez, Savahna Khantharoth, Erek Abate, Salena Khantharoth; siblings, Yolanda Hernandez, Donna Sandoval, and Anna Sanchez and his numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Robert retired from the City of the San Antonio Fire Department as a Personnel Investigator. He was a former Sheriff for Bexar County. Bob as he is affectionately known, was the protector of his family. In his off time, he enjoyed watching football and rooting for his Dallas Cowboys.

A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Friday, May 3, 2024, a Chapel service will begin at 10:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
