Robert Schumacher

Robert Lee Schumacher Jr., 80, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, in San Antonio. Bobby was born on July 3, 1941, to his father, Robert L. Schumacher, Sr. and his mother, Lillian Moran in San Antonio. A lifelong stock broker, he worked at Smith Barney and Wells Fargo Advisers. His life was filled with friends and family, and he was known for his generous heart, caring nature, kind demeanor, and sense of humor. Bobby had a very deep and abiding faith in his Lord. He loved his dogs and could be found walking them and chatting with fellow dog parents in Olmos Park. Bobby loved art, fishing, and hunting. He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Schumacher; father, Bob Sr; his wife Cora Smith Schumacher; and brother, Randy Schumacher. Bobby is survived by his wife, Barbie; son, Jay Schumacher; brother, Brent Schumacher; niece, Kim Mabry; nephew, Scott Schumacher; step-daughter, Anita Wallace; step-son, Samuel Simpson; and granddaughters, Kelsey, Suzanne, Catherine, Mary Lewis, and Sydney.
