He was born November 15, 1929 in San Antonio.
To protect America's freedom, he served 3 years with the Army Rangers, 15AAA Battalion 2nd Battalion as Sgt. 1st class 2 rockers.
He was awarded the Purple UN SVC Medal and Korean SVC Medal with 4 Bronze SRV Stars.
He was a 32nd degree Mason and was retired from AT&T after 43 years.
He leaves behind his soul mate, Lois Hazel Cote, no wife; children, Martha Tomerlin, Robert Tomerlin, Jr. and Chris Tomerlin; grandchildren, Samantha, Laura and David Elija Tomerlin.
