He was born on April 25, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas. He spent his childhood surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He attended Lanier High School, where he was involved in the school's band and played trombone. He graduated high school in 1977 and went on to work as a skilled photographer for many years. Afterwards, he served as a pillar of his community by working for the San Antonio ISD school district until his retirement.
Robert married his wife Gloria and welcomed two children, Robert Jr. and Marisa, to a life built on love, laughter, and adventure. With his family, he enjoyed traveling on cruises, going to the casino, and spending time at the beach. He was also an avid sports fan and rooted for the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. He will forever be remembered for his ability to make anyone laugh and the unwavering support he gave his family.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother Esther Trevino, his father Raul Trevino, and his brother Reynaldo Trevino. He is survived by his devoted wife Gloria Trevino, his beloved son Roberto Trevino Jr., his cherished daughter Marisa Trevino, his sisters Blanca Guerra and Lillian Mauller, his brothers Roger Trevino and Raul Trevino Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232, US, on September 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary service will be held at the same location and date, beginning at 7:00 pm.
