Having you for an Uncle was just downright FUN! There are so many memories of happy times together. Let me share one.
I'll never forget a winter we visited you in Albuquerque, NM. You and Aunt Jody had planned a trip for us to the Sandia Mountains. YOU drove up the mountain early in the morning (ahead of the rest of the family) and packed down a long trail in the snow for us to go tubing. When we arrived, you had the inner tubes inflated, a fire 
going and the chili cooking ( for the chili dogs!) we would have for lunch. Sitting around that fire later, the real fun would begin. The jokes!
Your natural ability of telling a joke is a memory all the family holds 
dear. Thank you for the gift of laughter.
So dear Uncle, with lots of love, I send one more your way........

One day God was talking to Adam and he said "Adam you look lonely. I know what l can do. I'll give you a woman, but it will cost you an arm and a leg."
Adam said "what can I get for a rib?"

I can still remember very vividly,the ride on the motorcycle,our working together in louisville, also sitting on the sidewalk watching TV in a  store window while waiting for Jody to get off work at the floral shop.  He spoiled all  the kids and grandkids in the family,.And most of all how he cared for his own after becoming a father. I am sure all members of our families will miss you and I plan on seeing you in Heaven.Ronnie Mullins,Austin,Tx

Great Uncle Lee - I do remember meeting you as a child, however I did not get a chance to know you well.  I do thank you so very much for touching the lives of so many throughout my family, certainly including my mother, Linda Jane Mullins (Dotson).

Uncle Lee,

Thanks for all the wonderful memories. I remember you and my dad sitting around the kitchen table and you pouring hot black coffee into your cup of sugar; and stirring, and stirring, and stirring… Wow, how you loved sugar! And, how you loved Aunt Jody's chili dogs.

I remember well when I was a little girl crying in the middle of the night for a chocolate bar. You didn't hesitate to go to the store to buy me one. When you gave it to me, you said “here honey” (I was so spoiled by you). 

I will miss your laughter, your smiling face, your funny jokes, and especially your undying love. Uncle Lee, I will always love you and keep you in my heart forever.

Aunt Jody, Debbie and Family,
The first thing I will always remember about my Uncle Lee, is that playful giggle he always had.  He slept on his side with his head held up by the palm of his hand, supported by his cocked elbow.  When I asked him why he slept that way he said "still listening for the Germans I guess".
My Uncle Robert L Wallen was a veteran of World War II and I am so proud of him.  He rode the rails for years on the Santa Fe railroad.  How cool is that!
His favorite movie was "The Magnificent Seven" and we both loved playing the guitar. There was so much more in a life we all celebrate.
