Robert Michael Wilson

Robert Michael (Bob) Wilson born on September 18, 1950 to Col. George T. and Veva Jo Wilson of San Antonio, Texas left to be with the Lord on August 13, 2012. Bob was born in Illinois at Chanute Air Force Base. Being a member of a military family, he had the privilege of living in several different states and countries. After thirty years in the military, his family retired in San Antonio, Texas where Bob met the love of his life of thirty-six years, Deborah Ann (Rodriguez) Wilson.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ramona Beth Reese.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Wilson; niece, Kimberly Rene Sutczak; great-niece, Amber Rene Sutczak; and great-nephew, Christopher Lebay.

Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow with military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Deborah would like to thank the special care givers who generously devoted themselves to Bob during his difficult time including Hacienda Oaks Nursing Home of Seguin and Odyssey Hospice of San Marcos.
