I did not have an opportunity to meet Mr. Woodward in person. However, I did indirectly because I know his beautiful daughter, Christy. As I type this, I am looking at his picture. He has the same warm and inviting smile as his daughter. Thank you, Mr. Woodward, for giving the world such a wonderful person. You have left a great legacy to us through her. I never had the honour to meet this wonderful man, but I feel that his daughter Prof. K represents him in numerous ways. He raised a great woman that has been a great teacher in my life. Thank you Robert L. Woodward.

We got to know Bob while living in the Philippines.He was a great friend to both of us.We will miss him.
