

November 1, 1927- March 6, 2015
Roberto Dibrell Castaeda entered eternal rest on March 6, 2015. He was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on November 1, 1927. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy and dedicated 40 years at Kelly AFB as a civil servant. He was devoted to his Catholic faith, Cursillo, Life in the Spirit, and Our Lady of Sorrows novena.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerardo and Fanny Castaeda and his brother, Oscar Castaeda.
He is survived by his brother Gerardo Castaeda (Linda) and his half-sisters Pilar Garcia and Raquel Kampfer. He leaves his loving wife, Anita, of 64 years and his loving children: Robert (Linda), Luis (Frances), Albert, Richard and Michael. He was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren: Louie, Christine, Greg, Vanessa, Lauren and Sofia and 8 great grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with family, fixing things around the house, watching the Spurs and boxing, and fishing with his sons. He is gone but his spirit lives on in each one of us forever.
Visitation will be at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Porter Loring on McCullough.
