

Roberto F. Villarreal was born on July 6, 1933, and entered eternal rest on June 26, 2026, at the age of 92. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Roberto's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Roberto lived a life defined by hard work, unwavering love for his family, and cherished traditions. Roberto began his career with B.F. Goodrich before dedicating many years of service to the H-E-B Warehouse in San Antonio, where he later retired. He took great pride in providing for his family and was known for his strong work ethic and generous heart.
He found his greatest happiness surrounded by family. Roberto loved hosting family barbecues, playing poker and Canasta with his brothers and loved ones, watching Western and action movies, and listening to Boleros and Ranchera music. His laughter, wisdom, and love created countless memories that his family will treasure forever.
Roberto was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alejandrina G. Villarreal, and his parents, Hilario and Melquiadez Villarreal.
He is survived by his children, Roberto Villarreal Jr. (Lupe T. Villarreal), Pedro Villarreal (Sonia Villarreal), Sandra Villarreal, and Alejandrina V. Reyna (Marco A. Reyna); his grandchildren, Roberta Rodriguez (Joey Rodriguez), Veronica McColley (Nick McColley), Abram Villarreal (Valerie Villarreal), Briana Garza (Jeremy Garza), Evan Villarreal (Alexandra Villarreal), Marco A. Reyna II (Katelyn Reyna), Amanda I. Reyna, and Hannah E. Reyna; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The procession will depart the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for interment at Mission Burial Park South, 1700 S.E. Military Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214
Roberto’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion to his family will continue to inspire all whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
