You were a blessing to all of us on this earth you touched with your kindness.  Your heart was big as Texas.  You were a great friend, son, husband, brother, uncle, father and grandfather:)

Your love of everything you did was huge.  Golf we know and of course bowling.  You were a great leader, encourager, mentor and anything you put your heart and mind to.

I am so sad  and hurt by your passing.  I loved that you have spent these last 30 plus years happy.  Glad to know you still loved corvettes and that was your passion this year.

Just reading all of these memories, it’s amazing you were the same person you always have been to your family and friends!

I pray for your wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren,  nieces and nephews along with your sister, Herschel and Patsy as I know you leaving has left a huge hole in their hearts.  May God help them heal knowing they’ll see you in Heaven .

My memory of Rodger was seeing his great smile at the dental office.  He was always such a positive presence for us.  I know he loved his wife and family very much as this was always in our topic of conversation.  He will be greatly missed by many.  May he rest peacefully in God's arms.   Vicki Pfullmann 

I met Rodger over 16 years ago, we’d meet and go to BSF together, and then end up talking for hours about what we learned. It seems like that was only yesterday. He was a wonderful man to know and very loved by all. He was always just a phone call away. Pattie was his closet friend and he loved her dearly. He loved all of his family and was extremely proud of them. You will be missed my friend. My deepest condolences to all. To his parents, know that you raised a truly remarkable man. 

I remember working with Rodger when he worked for GAB and Gentry.  He was one of the most honest guys you could ever know.  May God give comfort to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Rodger this past year on a restoration in New Mexico. His kindness and deliberate  effort allow me to finish the most necessary parts of the home to allow the owners back in on record time. Always honest , always showing his concern for the project. We were so saddened by this news.
But we are so thankful for his involvement, a true light .

Working with a property restoration company, I met Rodger soon after he moved to San Antonio in 1994.  Rodger was not only the nicest adjuster I ever worked with, but also the fairest to all parties. The more I got to know him the more I wanted to be his friend.

He was nice enough to play golf with me when I had just started playing.  I had no idea how good he was!  I remember his patience and kindness on the course that day much more than I remember anything about the round.  

Rodger will be missed by all who knew him, the world needs more good guys like him!  My wife Kelly and I send our sincere condolences to  Pattie and the entire family.  God bless the entire McMillan family with peace and comfort during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences on your loss. Rodger’s sister La’Tresa was a good friend of mine in elementary school and on through high school. I spent many hours at the McMillan home and sometimes went to church with the family. I remember Rodger to be a good big brother to La’Tresa. They had a sweet relationship. I remember Rodger loved golfing. The whole McMillan family was very kind to me. 

I have known Rodger for many years and always enjoyed our visits. He always spoke of his family and you could see how proud he was. One of the most honest person I have known and would always shoot you straight. Rodger will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I loved working with Rodger.  Always a professional and always looked out for his clients.  We enjoyed some great times outside of work as well including golf, hunting, church, motorcycle (me in a convertible) rides.  You will be missed greatly!  

Rodger and Pattie are my 2 favorite people...Rodger took time to  get up early one morning to take me to the hospital for a surgery I had...I will never forget that...they even let me be on their bowling  team and I was terrible...but I loved working with him and really missed not having them in my life after moving away from San Antonio...Rodger will always have a place in my heart  as will Pattie💜💜💜💜💜

I had the opportunity to work with Rodger on a few occasions. He was a good man who enjoyed people and often spoke about his family. He will be missed.

Please know that our prayers are with the family at this difficult time.  It is hard to let a loved one go but made somewhat easier by the fact that we will see him again. To a dad, there are a lot of memories, remembering in bowling you had more strikes, in golf you had longer drives, shooting goals in the driveway until after dark and staying outside playing some kind of ball until after bed time.  But my memories go farther back than this. 
Bringing home a son from the hospital and having him call you dad.  Seeing the life you put forth growing up and help making our family a great one, sure swells my chest with pride.
You will be missed but the promise of seeing you again and renew these memories will keep us going.

Rodger was my best and closest friend, my brother in high school.  We played on the golf team together and other times all around Lubbock area.  We did fun stuff, stupid stuff and some I won’t mention (needless to say it was never illegal, wrong or devious).  We lost touch for quite a while until we reconnected a few years ago and got to meet his best friend and love of his life, Pattie.  My heart  is with Pattie, Rodger’s sister and with Patsy and Herschel (who I called mom and dad).  Rodger will always live in our hearts, so he will always be with us....rest in peace “Bones”
