Rodolfo "Rudy" Guerra Jr.

Rodolfo Valle Guerra Jr. "Rudy", born January 9, 1960, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 2nd at the age of 55. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo Valle Guerra Sr. and step-father, Erasmo Uribe. Rudy is survived by his loving mother, Herlinda B. Uribe; beloved wife of 26 years, Norma Montez-Guerra; son and best friend, Rodolfo Valle Guerra lll (Roxana); step-sons, Joseph (Suehein), Patrick, Christopher (Susanne) Montez; adoring sisters, Elida (Jose) Arzola and Christine G. De La Vega; dearest brother, Pablo Guerra (Lynn); step–sister, Mary Jane ( Andrew); nieces and nephews, Joey, Anna, Amor, Teresa, Benjamin (Cooter), Cecilia, Christine, Angel, and Pablo; sister-In-law, Evangeline (Juan); mother-in-law, Tommie; aunt, Alice; seven grand–children; and one great-grand son. Also surviving are extended family and friends.

Rodolfo worked for Phoenix Electric as a Field Supervisor. He was a proud member of Alamo City Rods Car Club and was a Hot Rod Enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with family and thoroughly enjoyed his job. He loved baseball, horses, bull riding and working on his home. He will be missed by All.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home from 5PM - 8PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10AM at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 1214 Stonewall St., San Antonio, Texas 78211. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
