Rudy was very honestly one of the nicest people I knew in Misawa. I remember him singing the chorus of "Itching for a Scratch" by Force MD's and laughing at how well he nailed it every time. I can't think of one bad memory of him.  He and I weren't close or anything but he always managed to make you feel as if you were a friend of his. I haven't seen him since he was in the army and I was still in high school in KY. He was still the great caring guy I remember. We were all very lucky to know him and his family is deeply embedded in my prayers. 

I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Rudy. Rudy was such a fun loving spirit in high schools He was sweet genuine nice guy. The world will definitely miss his infectious smile.  Miss and love you and family.  Many prayers to you all.

It's been more than a half lifetime since I last saw Rudy. We shared a unique high school experience in Japan. I think everyone could always count on him for a genuine smile. We are among a very small group of people to share this experience.

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Rudy.  He truly was a kind and hilarious special person.  I will always have fond memories of our families hanging out and even if it wasn’t a holiday we sure did know how to celebrate.  Let us continue to celebrate his life and may his legacy carry on. Rudy, It seems like just yesterday when you sat next to me in Spanish class. And just yesterday you were tearing up the dance floor at the teen center when we were in high school. I don’t know why things like this happen but for whatever reason God needed you home with Him. I pray you’re resting- pain free and tear free. I went to high school with Rudy and he was the funniest and coolest dudes I ever knew. I haven't heard from Rudy in over thirty years, but it seems like it was just yesterday I was laughing at his crazy jokes.

My dearest brother, I will never forget Thanksgiving 2013. Veronica & I went to spend thanksgiving day with you, and you showed me how to play mortal combat your all time favorite game. You made thanksgiving so much fun, I will never forget that day. The best memory of all with you would be our last phone conversation together with Veronica, Robert, myself & you. Your spirits were so high, and you were so strong! Robert & I will forever cherish that last phone conversation with you. Robert, Isabella & I love you and miss you so much!
