With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rodolfo "Rudy" Rangel, who passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family. Rudy faced his final moments with courage, grace, and an open heart.
From humble beginnings, Rudy built a life marked by resilience, devotion, and deep love for his family. He was a devoted husband to Alice, his wife of 61 years; a loving father to his daughters, Suzanna Knight and Yolanda Rangel; a proud and guiding grandfather to Nicolle Rangel; and a generous friend to many.
Rudy poured his heart into creating a warm and loving home. He took great pride in caring for his family, his pets, and his garden, which was often filled with the vegetables he lovingly tended. He also nurtured the dreams of his children and granddaughter and held a lifelong protective affection for his brothers and sisters.
Rudy's presence was steady, grounding, and constant. He embodied the words, "Who can turn the world on with his smile." Though our world feels dimmer without him, his love, strength, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. We will carry him with us as we smile through difficult moments, laugh at the little things, and continue showing up for the people we love.
