 We are all very saddened to learn of Roger's passing. He was one of the most engaging and wonderful characters involved in Business, Motor Racing, and the many other lifestyles that Roger touched. An he touched a LOT of peoples' lives! 

 I knew Roger because of his great racing background, and we all know that Roger never met a Ford Vehicle he did not love! Roger gave me excellent leads for stories in The San Antonio LIGHT and the EXPRESS-NEWS for the motorsports pages. He was, as others said here, a 'Straight-Shooter' and could tell the most interesting stories about his life and his happiness, and about his close brushes with death. The Kelley Family and Roger are well-respected and we all are sad over Roger leaving us. We knew he was having trouble, but just like Roger, he would hop on a quick go-kart and set a lap-time that none of us could match, even when he was seriously ill!

God love you, Roger, because they threw the mold away after they invented you, and we are all going to massively miss you and your great outlook on life! Roger was the Racers' Racer all through his years, and we hurt now that you are gone, Roger. Bruce'
