Roger Ruiz, born on November 29, 1933 in San Antonio,TX was called to be with The Lord on January 8, 2025 at the age of 91.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Augustin Ruiz and Porfiria Ramirez Ruiz, his wife Lillie Ruiz and stepson Jesse H. Vargas.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosa Linda Ruiz-Wise; grandson Erick Anthony Wise; son, Roger Ruiz, Jr.; step-son, Richard G. Carruth; sister-in-law, Irma Dunford; siblings, Faustino Ruiz, Ruth Ruiz, Jesse Ruiz, Johnny Ruiz, Bridget Lerma, Angela Petrie and Mary Wood.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2025 Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 CUpples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237 followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio,TX 78209.
