

Roland is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Cevallos and brother, Ricardo Cevallos.
Roland is survived by his mother, Herminia Jaime Cevallos; wife, Irma Valdez Cevallos; daughter, Marina Cevallos; and sisters Yolanda (Rick) Stumbaugh, Norma Fernandez, Marylinda (Adrian) Wooten, along with numerous nieces and nephews who referred to him as their “Uncle Bo”, one of the coolest uncles ever!
Roland was a son, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He attended Edgewood HS and later earned his Barber license. Roland was incredibly witty and would keep people entertained. He was a kind-hearted and gentle soul who loved his family and friends very much. He enjoyed all types of music; most especially his classic vinyl hits. He enjoyed playing trivia questions to name that artist, song, and year. Roland loved the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, barbecuing, gardening, and playing handball. One of his favorite hobbies was creating walking canes using deer antlers as handles. He was an avid fan of WWE, the SA Spurs, the Dallas Cowboys and classic western films.
Roland found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including his daily dose of calm.
Roland leaves a profound void in the lives of his family and everyone who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
The Procession will depart from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S. San Augustine, San Antonio,TX 78237. The Services will conclude at the church.
