Rolando R. Robles was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Louise Robles, his children Elizabeth Diane Mendez (Jesse) and Roland Gerald Robles (P.J.), his brothers Ruben, Roy, and Jaime, his granddaughters Meghan (Maricela), Christina (George) and Emma Louise (Zachary), and his godsons Joel Robles and Edward Duron.
Roland served his country honorably during the Vietnam conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star for his bravery under fire. His family would like to thank Trinity Hospice for their concerned care during his final days. He will be deeply missed.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Trevino Funeral Home – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to only 50 guests in the building.
Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, October 5 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, October 6, a Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 AM and arrive at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church – 1147 Cupples Road 78226 – for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. The Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery – 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road 78209.
