Ronald James Barton, age 68, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 in San Antonio. He was born on September 14, 1944 in San Antonio, TX, to parents, James and Dorothy Barton. His passion was singing. Ron was active in his church choir at the University United Methodist Church.
Ron is survived by his mother, Dorothy Barton; brothers, Tom Barton, Don Barton, Tim Barton; son, Brian Barton and wife, Tricia; daughter, Jeanne Lovett and husband, Dennis; and his grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
