The Arrellano family is saddened by the loss of Ron Durbon and offers our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the entire Durban family.  
The South San Athletic Center will rightly be renamed after him…as it should be. Rest in Peace Mr. Durban

So sad to hear of this news. As a kid I was one of those pesky kids that used his backyard fence as a short cut to my house (we were back door neighbors) He’d sometimes catch us a get after us. As an adult I had the pleasure of working with him in the school district. We’d laugh about him catching us. He was truly a great man who was much respected.

Condolences to the entire Durbon Family.  Mr. (Coach) Durbon,  you were always so good to my family, especially to my brother, Albert and I.  You always had a hug and a smile for us.  Thanks for all you did for our Bobcat District! Rest in eternal peace.

My condolences and prayers go out to the entire Durbon family. He was a great coach, leader, and always gave sage advice. I will always have those great memories of him. May God embrace the Durbon family with peace and comfort at this time of sorrow.

Condolences to the Durbon family I remember him through my dad coach Bird Villarreal his son Gary played with my brother and my dad coached Gary in basketball Mr Durbon was a very nice man and always had a smile on his face he will be dearly missed and never forgotten he also worked with my dad for SSISD💐

My condolences to the entire Durbon family.   I remember Coach Durbon from my days at South San High School.  He was respected and admired by many who he coached while at South San.  May he rest in peace.  Joe A. Mendoza, Class of 70.

Dear Barbara, Gregory, Gary, and the Durbon Family,
Please accept my most sincere and profound condolences on the passing of Mr. Ronnie Durbon.  My thoughts and prayers are with you in your very difficult time of grief and do find solace in knowing that he will be remembered in my daily prayers.  During the thirty-one years that I worked for the South San Antonio ISD, I will always remember Mr. Durbon with fond memories.  He was an exceptional leader, a tremendous educator, and a beautiful human being whose smile and friendliness brighten the room with a warm glow as soon as he walked in.  He definitely left an indelible mark on the lives he touched.  His educational philosophy was simple, "The students always come first and do what is best for the students."  The happy and wonderful memories you have of him is what will keep his memory alive in your minds and in your hearts forever.  And I feel very fortunate that our professional paths crossed.  May his soul rest in peace.
