Ronald Lee Fairman

Ron served in the U.S. Navy before attending Southwest Texas State and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration. He also obtained a Master's Degree of Business Administration in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Ron loved baseball, especially coaching his son's teams, driving family and friends on the boat at the lake, camping outdoors with his family, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was also a member of the Texas Corvette Association of San Antonio and the Alamo Corvette Association and enjoyed showing his cars in competitions.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Cunningham; his daughter, Alicia VandeBerg and her husband Jason; his son, Brett Fairman and his wife Samantha; grandchildren Kayla and Brynna VandeBerg; Jack, Dylan, and Henry Fairman, and Jacqueline and Landon Cunningham; and his sister Judith Fierman and her husband Maurice.

A service will be held at Fort Sam Houston on June 7th, 2018 at 1:15 PM with a reception to follow at 3:00 PM at Hearthstone BakeryCafe at 4212 McCullough Avenue.
