Mr. Garner served in the Navy and Reserves. He worked for 40 plus years in the oil chemical business then retiring with Clariant.
Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Jean Garner; daughter, Dena and husband Chris; son, Patrick and wife Heather; daughter, Buffy and husband Greg; son, Jon and wife Debbie; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by a twin brother Donald Gene Garner and three nephews; Kirk, Gene, and Randy Garner.
The family would like to thank the MacArthur Church of Christ family for their prayers and support. The family would also like to thank the hospice team with Vitas for their care given to Ron. Special thanks are extended to Giget Casarez who was Ron's caregiver.
