He was born in Nahant, MA, on January 6, 1942, where he attended school, became a volunteer firefighter and a great friend to many. After the death of his father, he and his mother moved to San Antonio so they could be closer to her brother's family. After the death of his mother in 2004, Ron entered the Amber Oaks Assisted Living Community.
He is well known there for his movie nights, rides to Wal-Mart, love of animals and has an overall long history of a big heart, generous nature and loving spirit. He will be genuinely missed by all.
Ron, although survived by a few relatives, considered the community at Amber Oaks to be his extended family.
