Rosa Flores

Rosa Isabel Flores of San Antonio passed away on Friday May 12, 2023, at the age of 72. She was born on April 25, 1951, in San Antonio Texas where she grew up as the oldest twin of 11 children on the Southside of San Antonio. She is survived by her four children, Diego, Joann, Vicky, and Nancy, her 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Diego, Cuyo, Lidia, Vangie, Elia, and Lola, and many nephews and nieces.

She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for 20 years serving the elderly community in the San Antonio area.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Diego and Maria “Concha” Cortez, Sisters Connie and Amelia, and brother Genaro, and her son baby Joe.

She loved Fiesta and was a giving person to those she loved.

The family would like to thank Mona, her Nurse at Lakeside Rehabilitation Center for the care and compassion she showed our mom in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Ceremony at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 1021 N. Hamilton, on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Reception will follow at 3:00 PM.
