Rosa M. Gonzales

Our beloved mother, wife, sister, friend and Nana, Rosa M. Gonzales, aged 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 25th in San Antonio, Texas. Rosa was born in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Mauro and Carlotta Gutierrez. Although relocating to San Antonio, she always believed Fort Worth to be her home.

A dedicated mother and wife, Rosa ensured her kids were raised in a loving home always encouraging them to follow their dreams. A wonderful cook, Rosa loved making family dinners always trying different recipes she pulled from magazines. Perhaps her greatest role, Rosa loved being Nana to her grandchildren and especially cherished the holidays, birthday parties and sleepovers when they were all together.

Rosa is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Adolpho Gonzales. Rosa is survived by her daughter Valeria and Dan Kvedoras; sons: Adolpho Gonzales, Jr., Adrian Gonzales; and Fabian and Katherine Gonzales; grandchildren: Daniel and William Kvedoras; Andrew and Benjamin Gonzales; Anisah and Nikolai Gonzales; Cierra and Christian Gonzales; brothers: Mauro Gutierrez; Gilbert and Margaret Gutierrez; numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm October 10, 2019 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
