Rosalinda grew up and graduated from Martin High School in Laredo,Texas in 1974. In 1991, she and her family moved to Schertz, Texas, where she worked hard and made many lifelong friends. Linda, as many knew her by, was a petite 4'9 but she was a force to be reckoned with. The terms “Tiny but Mighty” and “Dynamite comes in small packages.”, described her perfectly. She was strong and fierce in everything she did. She enjoyed working outside and was not afraid of hard physical labor. She loved her children but even more so her grandchildren. For the last 15 years she would travel twice a year to visit her daughter and grand babies in Alabama and made it a tradition to spend the holidays there with them. There is no love to match that of a grandparent/grandchild.
She is preceded in death by the father of her children, James Wesley Donahoo. Her parents, Maria Del Socorro Salinas and Jose Ayala. Her sister Yolanda Garcia.
She is survived by her partner of 23 years, Floyd Hamilton. Her children, James Bryant Donahoo (Dana), and Lori Donahoo Denton (Paul). Her grandchildren, Matthew Connor Martinez, Madisen Lorraine Martinez, Ella Grace Denton, and Sofia Nicole Denton. Siblings; Sylvia Ramirez (Roberto), Lydia Nieto (Ismael), and Jose Ayala(Maria). Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be missed by all, but especially her grandchildren.
