Rose Hernandez born July 7, 1954 passed away peacefully January 14, 2026. Rose Hernandez was a woman whose life was defined by compassion, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to others. A devoted nurse’s assistant, Rose spent many years caring for patients both in their homes and in nursing facilities, offering not just medical support, but genuine kindness, patience, and love. To those she cared for, she was more than a caregiver, she was comfort, safety, and a familiar smile in moments of vulnerability.
At the center of Rose’s world was her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment, big or small. Her love for them was fierce, selfless, and constant, a love that will continue to live on in their hearts and memories.
Rose had a joyful spirit and a playful sense of humor. She loved making people laugh and had a way of lifting the mood wherever she went. She also delighted in thrifting, finding beauty and hidden treasures in unexpected places, much like she did in life itself. What others might overlook, Rose embraced with enthusiasm and appreciation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Minnie Wurz; her brother, Karl Wurz; her sister, Amelia Wurz; her nephews, Michael Garcia, Frank Jr. Garcia, and Bruce Garcia; and her niece, Felisha Jimenez. While she now joins them in eternal rest, her absence leaves a profound ache for those who remain.
Rose is survived by her beloved daughters, Toni Marie Salazar (Joshua Torres) and Michelle Salazar; her only son, Lucas Salazar; her sister, Della Jimenez (Homer); and her cherished grandchildren: Jaydon Cruz, Sebastian Mendoza, Jaxon Torres, Charlotte Torres, Evelyn Torres, Raelynn Salazar. She also leaves behind her loving nieces Evelyn R. Jimenez, Claudia Noreiga, Annette Garcia, and Alice Garcia, as well as her nephews Homer Jimenez and Brian Jimenez.
Though Rose’s time on this earth has come to an end, the legacy she leaves behind is one of love, service, and joy. Her laughter will echo in memories, her kindness will live on through the lives she touched, and her love will continue to guide her family forward.
To have known Rose Hernandez was to have known warmth and compassion. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
