Rose Marie Lavdar

She quickly joined her husband, Richard Lavdar, in heaven 11 days after he passed. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Marie, and brother, Douglas Bruner. She is survived by her son, Richard John Lavdar Jr. of Duncanville, Texas, and daughter Marcella Doreen Alexander of San Antonio, Texas; 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Rose Isaacks was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 15, 1936, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Nowlin) Bruner. She graduated from Breckinridge High School and went to San Antonio College for bookkeeping. In 1957 Rose married Richard Lavdar. They had two children, Marcy and Rickey. The family relocated to Maine and Massachusetts while Richard was in the military. They settled in San Antonio. Rose worked as a typist for USAA. Her real passion was babies, and she enjoyed working at Timber Path Daycare for 15 years. Together, the family participated in many activities and adventures. Rose and Richard were very proud and involved grandparents. Rose and her husband retired in New Braunfels in December 2002. They were members of First Baptist Church.
