I wanted to share some fond memories of my Tia Rosa. When we were small we lived with grandma and didn't have much of a social life for mom was a working single parent. Tia would come and take us along with her girl scout troop. I sang "Make new friends but keep the old ones" for years. I only now find that Tia lived by these words. I know Tia now shares her angelic voice with the real angels and will always be rememebered for her glorious renditions of our songs to the Virgin Mary. To Tio Manuel and Danny I pray Our Lord dismiss all anxiety from your lives and stand guard over your hearts and minds.

Our condolences to the family for your loss. Rose Mary played the organ many times here at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church with the English Choir. We will always remember her. We are proud to have known her.She is an example of what can be accomplished in a lifetime. May the Lord grant you strength and peace.

My grandmother touched so many lives that I know she will live on for many years. Through her friends and co-workers who have followed her lead to help those who need some type of direction or a warm friendly smile or and example to follow. She was always ready to help or at the very least volunteer my grandfather to help in some way! She also showed us that it was never too late to set a goal and go for it. Her family will continue to honor her by the fellowship, friendship and assistance we show to those that come in contact with us each and every day. She walked and spoke softly, but her actions spoke volumes each day. We can only hope to touch as many people as she has. There is going to be a big void here in our lives, she was a part of so many things, but I know that she will guide us each day from above, and that it is our job to make sure that we honor her memory and follow her lead. I Love you and will miss you so much.

Dear Mr. Saenz, Danny and family, 
 Mrs. Saenz was a gentle, loving and generous soul who played an important role as a mother -figure in my life. I have many joy-filled memories of her from the time I was a very young child. 
 I will always hold dear the memory of being in the St. Stephen's Choir with her, Mama, Mary Alice and the rest of the gang; and the many beautiful Christmas Midnight Masses, Easter Vigils, countless weddings, and pre-Vatican Latin funeral Masses we took part in. 
 I will never forget the love and support Mrs. Saenz showed when my mother died. I don't know what I would have done without her and your help, Mr. Saenz, during that very difficult time. 
 There is no doubt that there is a Fiesta in Heaven over her arrival. I know in my heart that Father Paul, Daddy and Mama, and Mrs. Saenz are together again and having a banquet in Our Father's House ! 
 I will always love her dearly and she will always be in my prayers.

I had the honor of meeting Mrs. Saenz at my aunt Maria Garcia's funeral. The family will ever be grateful for all she did for the Garcia family. May She Rest In Peace.

Rose Mary's presence will always be felt at the front doors of OLLU. Her kindness, patience and beautiful smile is imprinted upon the memory of so many of us who were greeted by her. It seems too soon for her to leave us but anyone who knew her also knows that she is probably helping to greet and provide directions to those arriving at heaven's gate.

I taught piano to Rose Mary when I was teaching at the Lake 1972-77, though I don't remember exactly which year. She was playing organ for a small church here on the West side, and wanted to improve her skills. Rose Mary was a beautiful, generous, thoughtful woman. I turned her over to Sr. Elaine when I left in '77 to work in Calif. for the next 27 years. 
Over the years, when I came home in summer for retreat & meetings, we would visit at the switchboard. Now that I am at the Retirement Center & wheelchair bound, we stayed in touch occasionally, by phone. She had such a wonderful presence and professional touch in her work at the University.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Rose Mary while working at OLLU. I will always remember her loving yet playful spirit. Thoughts and prayers are with the Saenz family.

Rose Mary had a remarkably gentle spirit and a gracious way of greeting the world. She touched many lives, including mine, and I am grateful for having known her. My deepest sympathies to her family. For all the kindness she showed to others, I am certain she is walking with God.

We were all so blessed to have had Rosemary in our lives. I worked at OLLU for 15yrs with her. She always had a smile and a hug for everyone. Manual I am also Terrie Montelongo's mom and I know how she opened her heart and home to her and Joe. Terrie is having a difficult time with this news. She and Rosemary shared a unique bond. To Rosemary's family I say how lucky you are to have had such a wonderful person in your lives and allowed her to share a portion of her life with those of us at OLLU. Her voice will be missed when anyone phones OLLU. I now live in colorado and my friends at OLLU contacted me to share the news and I had to call my daughter in Texas and break the news to her.

H, my name is annie Martinez i am a junior at OLLU and sort of new to the school. It has been a privledge to know Ms. Rosemary because it was her that i met my first day at school and it was her that made me feel right at home.Ms. Rosemary always had a huge smile on her face every morning. it seemed that her greatest joy was seeing others happy. I will never forget her voice I can still hear it today when we would take the students to sing to her in the switch board. she always had little treats for the 2 year olds and in her eyes we could see that she truely loved working at OLLU. I truely believe that God needed an angel and that is why he took rosemary so she could be his angel as she was to many of us at the lake.I will keep her and her family in my prayers always.

I am so very sorry. I love Rose Mary so much. I helped her at OLLU through some of her classes and fell in love with her & Manuel. They gave the lasso at our wedding and it means so much to me. My husband and I have tried to model our marriage after the love that Rose Mary & Manuel have. We want our marriage to be just like theirs. Truly in love for a lifetime. I will miss her so very much. Although we didn't speak on a regular basis, I think of her & Manuel regularly & remind myself I need to call them more often. I will miss her so much.
