Rosemarie Pace of San Antonio passed away on May 31, 2015. She was born in Anaconda, Montana on December 12, 1933, but soon after moved to Helena, Montana where she graduated from Cathedral High School. She was editor of her school newspaper and excelled in writing.
Her husband, Richard Pace Sr., a career military man, preceded her in death. They were married in 1956.
Rosemarie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a special love for children and was a professional nanny for many years.
She is survived by her son, Richard Pace and his wife, Julie Pace of San Antonio, her son, Kurt Pace of Houston; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Mary Judge of Great Falls, Montana and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by the Shields family of Houston, Texas. She worked for them as a nanny for many years.
She will be buried next to her husband at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
