Rosemary Jane Burghardt

Rosemary Burghardt passed away on August 30, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Rosemary was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Although she made her home in Schertz, Texas, and lived much of her life in the United States, her roots and family connections remained close to her heart. She will be returned to Welford, England, where she will be laid to rest in the graveyard of St Mary the Virgin Church, returning home to the place she held dear.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer Burghardt, and her sister, Delphine Bell. We find comfort in knowing that Rosemary and Elmer are together again.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Ross Burghardt, her daughter-in-law, Allie, and her beloved granddaughter, Sadie, who brought great joy and love into her life.

Rosemary is also survived by her sister, Paula Draper, her niece, Holly Bremner, and Holly’s daughter, Maise. Her family was an important part of her life, and the love shared between them will continue to carry her memory forward through the generations.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable space in the hearts of those who loved her, Rosemary’s memory will live on through her family, the stories they share, the moments they hold close, and the love she gave throughout her life.

After a life lived between two places she called home, Rosemary will make her final journey back to Welford, England, where she will be laid to rest in the St Mary the Virgin Church graveyard, surrounded by the history and roots of her family.

She will be remembered with love, missed beyond words, and carried in the hearts of her family forever.

Rest peacefully, Rosemary. You are loved and are missed.
