Roy Marvin Shipman, Jr. passed away on July 15, 2016 in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. He was born on July 23, 1954 to Roy Marvin, Sr. and Joyce Juanita Shipman in Dallas, Texas. Roy was a married to Gail Thi Shipman. He was a beloved husband and father with a strong faith and will be greatly missed.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Gail; his children, Roy Shipman, III, Justin Shipman, Matthew La, Nina La; his grandchildren, Hugo, Jeremy, Caari; and his sisters Jane and Linda Shipman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22nd from 7-9 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00 am at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow at a later date.
