Roy Villegas, better known as Chore, entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on December 14, 2024 at the tender age of 58. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 8, 1966 to mother, Concepcion Camarillo and father, Concepcion Ruiz Villegas.
Known as the jokester of the family, Roy had a gift for making people smile and laugh, always knowing how to lighten the mood and bring joy to any gathering. Roy’s sense of humor and warm personality were unforgettable and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Roy had a love for the simple joys in life. He enjoyed fishing with his friends and was a fan of classic westerns and cowboy movies. He could often be found watching his favorites movies and TV shows, with one of his favorites being Gunsmoke.
Above all, Roy valued his family. Growing up as the youngest of the brothers in a large family of nine children, he shared a special bond with his siblings and was deeply loved by them. His presence brought warmth and unity to their lives, and his absence will leave a void that can never be filled.
Roy will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Concepcion R Villegas and Concepcion C Villegas; sister, Juanita Davila, Maryann Villegas, Josie Villegas, Alica Escobedo, Carmen Garcia; brother, Carlos Villegas; niece, Valerie Davila; nephew, Gary Davila; and great-niece, Jenna Salazar.
His memory will forever live in his brothers, Feliz Villegas, and Jesus Villegas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
