Ruby Lucille Arnold

She was the daughter of William A. Sonnen and Aloe Freeman Sonnen.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland R. Arnold and her three brothers, Robert A. Sonnen; W.A. "Son" Sonnen and Winton Sonnen.

A native of San Antonio, Ruby graduated from Brackenridge High School and worked at Joske's until her marriage to Roland in 1940.

She was active in the First Evangelical United Brethren Church and later, Highland Terrace Methodist Church.

Ruby, also lovingly known as Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt Ruby and Lucille, enjoyed close, loving friendships, baking, crafts, volunteering for many organizations and most especially spending time with her family.

Her kind and gentle spirit touched many lives during her 88 years.

She is survived by her son, Charles W. Arnold and wife, Sara J. Arnold; her daughter, Judith A. Garrett and husband, Richard D. Garrett; and her four beloved grandchildren, Adam A. Arnold and his wife, Adrienne Arnold; Austin A. Arnold; Allison E. Garrett; and Bryce T. Garrett.
