Ruby Mary Pircher, born December 21, 1926, was called home by the Lord on January 19, 2012, at the age of 85. Ruby, known as Nana to her family, loved life, her family and her church. She also loved working with the Altar Guild, making hundreds of quilt tops for the Lutheran World Relief. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Raymond W. Pircher, Sr.; her children, Rita Niemeyer (Dennis); Raymond Pircher, Jr. (Martha); Ruth Ann Neal (Ben) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10:00am at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 308 Mount Calvary, San Antonio, TX 78209. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
