Ruby graduated from Hutsonville High School, and was a talented musician who played the piano and organ. She had most recently served as a part-time church musician at Covenant Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg, FL, before moving to San Antonio in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Rieke, and sister Arzena Ginsberg.
Ruby is survived by: son, Edwin A. Rieke of San Antonio, TX; brother, Max Conrad and wife Kathleen of Mason City, IL; niece Lola Rieke of Barrington, IL; and niece Jean Babb of Belvedere, IL.
