Ruby Nash Wilson

Ruby Wilson, age 98, passed away in Austin, Texas on April 22, 2022. She was born in rural Roff, Oklahoma on January 26, 1924. As an Air Force wife, she moved frequently with her husband Bob before settling in Shavano Park, Texas where they lived for 45 years. In 2016, they moved to Austin to be near their daughters. Bob passed away in 2017.

As an active member of the St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church, Ruby helped organize the Society of the Rosary and served as its chairperson for 20 years. She and Bob were charter members of the St. Francis senior group, the Silver Stars.

Ruby was a skilled seamstress and an accomplished artist but above all was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Claudia and Dan Anderson, and Charlotte Wilson and Mike Roberts; grandson, Robert Anderson, his wife Rebecca Deason and their daughters Emma and Elizabeth; granddaughter, Judith Jones, her husband, John Jones and their sons Carter and Dylan.
