Lunch at the Golf Shack at Brooks was always made better by a smile and conversation with Rudy. Great at golf and great with people. God Bless you and your family!

All of us will miss Rudy's friendship, sportsmanship, and humor. Our time here is short and sometimes it's hard to accept the loss of those we love. But if and when we use our time with our loved ones the way God intended, there will be no regrets in the end. Thank you for the fun times even through some of the disagreements we've had. We'll drink a 'Budweiser' for you..."Have a good day!" as you would always say.

I had many long talks with Rudy before his illness worsened, and found him sharp, opinionated in a valued sense, and a true patriot. A fun guy, good friend, and I will miss him. He now plays golf where bogeys are unknown. Goodbye, Rudy. Thanks for your friendship.

Rudy was a friend to many and a stranger to no one. He was a good athelete and was always willing to help others develop their skills, as witnessed by his youth clinics conducted at Brooks until illness precluded his carrying on. He handled his illness, remission and recurrence with great courage and was an inspiration to all of us. We will miss you, Rudy!

Rudy was a true friend and will always be remembered for his goodness and a great competitior. Rudy made me look at my golf game with some finess if possible and certainly will be thankful to him. He will always be considered a true friend and I will cherish his friendship and memory.

I knew Rudy primarily from playing golf with him. He had a very relaxed golf swing and was one of the best putters I have ever seen. I tried to pick up pointers from him whenever I could. Along with many others of the old Brooks Golf Crew, I enjoyed Rudy's company and good nature. We will all miss his smile and laughter.

We extend our sympathy to you Aunt Susie and your family. Rudy will always be remembered for his laugh and his love of golf. May your hearts be filled with peace and love at this time of sadness. Rosa Uribe and Family

I, as many of us will, always have very fond memories of Rudy. Mostly of the many evenings sitting around the Brooks Club after another round of golf drinking a beer and "discussing" the rules of golf or some likewise 'important' issue of the day. His laugh was truly contagious. Those were wonderful times but now I'm sure Rudy is in a far better place. My thoughts and prayers are wtih Rudy and all of of you.

There are a few things that I would like to say about Rudy. Rudy played sports with a lot of spirit, approaching his favorite game of golf with a lots of gusto. 
Though,Rudy was trying at times, and a challenge for those who knew him. We still liked him very much. As friends, we enjoyed his friendship and competitive spirit. Rudy was a very loving person. He was truly a guy full of love and passion for his friends.. His wittiness and vernacular brought us surprises and laughter. He was definitely a ?politician?. Rudy was always such a competitor. For all of Rudy?s buddies, you already know this. He had dreams of playing in the Senior Golf tournament with Chi-Chi Rodriguez and Lee Trevino. Rudy didn?t like to lose and rarely did! He was an awesome golfer and a very good softball player. A well known athlete at Brooks AFB. It brings sadness to our eyes when we think of all the joy he brought us over the years. 
Rudy was also our ?Q? chef!!!!!! He could cook ribs, steaks, fajitas, and chicken like no one else. Everyone should know that Rudy lived a happy life, even though it was cut short. 
He was loved by many and he knew it. Even though our hearts are broken,he still puts a smile on our faces when we think of him. Rudy will live in our hearts forever. We will miss you Rudy. Adios

Rudy was the lifeblood of much of our recreation in the Brooks Community, particularly golf. It will never be as good without him. He was a great guy. I pray for him and his family.

Rudy was a true friend. I had the pleasure of playing intramural softball and off base tournaments with Rudy. He enjoyed the game, but took winning and losing in stride. Our prayers are with him and his family as he goes to rest in a better place.

I WORKED WITH RUDY EVERY TUESDAY . HE WAS A GREAT FELLOW TO WORK WITH . I DEEPLY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS MADE GOD BLESS ALL OF THE FAMILY

Rudy was a good person. His BBQ fixings and constant laughter was his trade mark. We played golf and had a very good time. He will be missed.

Please accept my very deepest sympathy on the death of your son/brother. 
I feel it is almost an intrusion to write at a time like this. But I must tell you how saddened I am by the death of my friend Rudy. I cannot tell you how deeply I feel for you in your sorrow. It was a privilege to have known Rudy. His loss will be felt by many, for a long time. I hope that time will quickly soften the blow, and leave you only cherished memories. Affectionately, Joe T
