Rudolph F. Tilley

He was born near Conway, Arkansas, on May 28, 1916. He was educated in Conway, receiving his BA degree from the University of Central Arkansas.

On April 16, 1939, he joined Kraft Foods Company and was a devoted and faithful employee for over 40 years.

At the time of his retirement, Rudy was Regional Sales manager in Kansas City, having previously served in Little Rock, San Antonio, Dallas and Norfolk. Rudy was a successful manager who was loved and respected by the men and women he supervised.

He served his country during World War II as a Sergeant in the army, stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines.

On July 25, 1947, he married the love of his life, Evelyn Miles, and was a loving and faithful husband, father, and grandfather.

Rudy had been an active member of Churchill Baptist Church in San Antonio since 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; and his children, Mary Ellen Ogden of Little Rock, AR; Dr. Douglas Tilley and his wife Sheran; Clark Tilley and his wife Debbie; grandchildren, Chris Tilley and his wife Andrea, Lisa Dundas and her husband Jim, Casey Tilley and his fianceé Amanda Hoffman, and Cara Tilley, all of San Antonio. Grandchildren, Kim and Kyle Ogden; and great-grandchildren, Christin and Caleb, all of Little Rock. Also surviving are his sister, Mary Burton of Fayetteville, AR, and his brother, Bert Tilley of Seattle.
