After a life well lived, spent caring for others and his family, Rudolph Gerhardt Timpte died August 21, 2024, at home in Boerne, Texas. Family and friends will celebrate his life in a service at Spring Creek United Methodist Church.
He was the son of Aurelia Susan Reith and Rudolph Joseph Timpte of Corpus Christi, TX. “Rudie” attended Peacock Military Academy in San Antonio, where he was a member of the acrobatic horseback Monkey Drill Team and won a Pan American Games swimming medal. The Texas Real Estate Magazine and San Antonio Light published his articles about mortgage banking. He also enjoyed success as an officer in the stock market, department store, and automobile industries.
Mentoring the young and the elderly brought Rudie a great deal of pleasure. His hobbies were varied. Among them were flying his plane, riding his motorcycle, working as a master leather craftsman, playing tennis, hunting, skiing, and traveling worldwide.
