He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a very humble man and loved the Lord.
Mr. Aguilar served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in the Philippines and in Japan. He graduated from Trinity University in 1955. He taught school for 12 years in the Edgewood School District and was a volunteer worker at Guadalupe Community Center for several years. He liked to play golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Angelina Aguilar.
Survived by his wife, Aurora T. Aguilar; son, Rudy Aguilar and wife, Leslie; daughters, Elizabeth Berube and husband, Donald, and Janet Flores; grandchildren, Daniel, Ashley, Angelina, David, Christopher, and Julian; great-grandson, Brodie; brothers, Albert and Reuben; sisters, Ruth and Angelina.
