Rufina M. Ruby Arocha

She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School. Ruby was a dedicated and loyal employee of Kelly AFB, retiring after 31 years as an aircraft mechanic and cockpit engineer. She was a strong willed individual who loved and placed her family first in her life. She loved gardening. She had a strong faith and was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She and her husband, "Kike" were the owner's of Kike's Ice House until his passing. She was always there for her family; she was deeply loved and we will cherish our Mom and grandmother's memory in our heart forever. The family will dearly miss her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 38 years, Henry C. "Kike" Arocha Jr.; their daughter, Diana A. Villarreal, her siblings and her beloved dog, Chiquita.

Ruby is survived by her son, Henry M. "Kike" Arocha III and wife, Dolores; and daughter, Patricia Ann Delgado and husband, Raymond; brother, Robert Rosales; grandchildren: Henry F. "Kike" Arocha IV and wife, Sandra, Robert Andrew Arocha, Jennifer Ramos, Melissa Ruby Solis, Raymond Patrick Delgado, Erik Jeffery Arocha; great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Jaden and Noah Ramos, and numerous other relatives. Special thanks to Dolores M. Arocha for her love and tender care for the past 6 years of my mom's life.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9th beginning at 4:00 PM at Porter Loring on McCullough with recitation of the Rosary in the Chapel at 7:00 PM.

On Thursday, December 10th, a procession will depart Porter Loring Chapel at 9:30 AM for the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 314 Merida Street with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
