Rufino Lora, 99 of San Antonio, TX passed away on April 14, 2022. He was born in Zimapan, Hidalgo, Mex. on February 28, 1923 to Benito Lora and Antelma Labra and was married to Paula Lora for 30 years. Rufino had a career in agriculture; migrating to northern states of the U.S for work. He had a passion for scraping his magueyes on his land while in Mexico. Rufino was a hard working man, a very serious man, but loved being around his family and his ranch. He liked to drink pulque that he personally scraped from his magueyes while working his land.
He was preceded in death by his wife Paula Lora and his parents Benito and Antelma.
He is survived by all his children, grand children and great grand children.
A visitation for Rufino will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will occur at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:45 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. An interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
