

Russell M. Walker, also known as “RIP”, age 84, passed away July 11, 2013. He was born on December 5, 1928 in Huntingdon, PA. to George and Sylvia Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife Irma Walker and a daughter, Deborah. He was and will continue to be the hero and rock of the family he created. He taught his family to love unconditionally and always stand united. Many tears of sadness are shed, as all who knew this great man will miss their father, grandfather, great grandfather, father in-law, uncle, brother, and friend. Bringing peace to those who feel his absence, is the vision of his reunion with his bride of 53 years and the many tears of joy as she proudly shows him off to those who have gone before. We thank you for your legacy. You will be loved, missed and remain in our hearts forever! He is survived by his sons, Russell Walker, Steven Walker and wife Angela, Edward Walker and wife Carol; daughters, Lindy Lozano and husband Gabriel, Kathy Walker, Jackie Gil and husband Oscar, Carol Barker; brother, George Walker; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews living in Pennsylvania. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, July 18, 2013 for a 10:00 A.M. mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 2.
